Not a big fan of *disclaimers* but this the first time alot of people will be reading my poetry (most people dont even kno i write the shit) anyhoot, i wrote this a year or so ago…it still needs sum touchin up i believe (im a perfectionist only when it comes to poems) but i think the concept is dope. um…its kinda written really staggered…but if ur smart enough u should be able to follow it and catch the rhyme schemes n all that shit….PLEASE GIMME SUM FEEDBACK cuz then i will kno if i should post more of my poems n shit.

the telling me i’m irresponsible, and i would never make a good dad
the wishing i could take back the last 4 years…so i could have never met u
Reading the four page letters you write and sign with your tears…everytime i upset u

(some poetry I wrote at work this morning. Very random skattered thoughts. Fuck it doe)

My mind is cluttered.
Ambitious thoughts plagued by doubt.
Dreams of the future plagued by past regrets.
Pain I’m borderline afraid to accept
So I attempt to neglect it. But it follows me
And once my thoughts are collected
They bottle me in.
So I’m searching for a better route to get my message out.
I’m audible with no audience.
My voice travels with no tourist
So it’s hereby hearsay,
the tree falls in the forest.
Radio statics as I attempt to manage bad habits.
I’ve fell victim to the plight.
Senseless actions
No sight
Still able to out the counterfeit who fell victim to the light
I don’t speak to strangers.
So I can understand your feeble attempts to comprehend because real recognize real.
Thinking outside box but will step inside still just to show them I ain’t lost a step.
My neighborhood loses daily
Every steps a forced bet and the house always wins.
Sorry for my sporadic statements.
I fill up notebook lines to wage earn.
I heard they were giving out pennies for thoughts
So I cashed in on change
And bought more notebooks
It’s a never ending cycle.

7-20-10
I’m blogging again.
So today was Kiese’s funeral. Really not tryn dwell on it but I’ll say this. Today was a very rough day for myself and the rest of my team. The EST, Kiese’s Friends, and most of all his family are really hurting right now and he will truly be missed. With that said, I’m back to the grind with this music because anyone who knew Kiese that’s what he would want me to do.

Was in the studio with JoeLogic and Artiphacts till like 3:30am this morning. Creating some nicethings. Footage coming soon. Got a very hot track with Selina Carerra(I think I spelled that right). And we are looking for a final piece to the track then we will be releasing it.

It’s really a lot goin on right now with the music, not just gassin, I really have some nicethings in the works, and ya’ll don’t even have to be patient, its coming sooner than u’d expect. All I ask is that you stay tuned and continue to support me. I appreciate it.

The Best of Chill?

So I decided to get back to blogging. Always loved doing this anyway, plus i have a lot going on and lots to say, this shit is pretty theraputic. (im sure i spelled that wrong} but that’s the thing i like about my blog, i just go for it, type till i don’t feel like it anymore and hope that sumwhere along the way i entertained and or inspired sumone (depending on the topic of the blog obviously)

Anyway, the other day i was chillin with my big cousin Khalil getting on like we usually do [nice thingz] and he brings up this “Best of Chill” mixtape idea that he’s been tryin get me to do for like 2 years. He’s thinking that now that a couple more people than just the family kno i rap, and they are really starting to take to my music, i need to put out all the older music that i have. Alot of those songs are very good. I personally think its waaaaaay to early to do a “Best Of Chill” mixtape, mainly because i only have like 5 mixtapes AND they all (with the exception of Street Cleaning) have been released in like a 2 1/2 year span. So it’s pointless. but i’m on the fence about it because ALOT of that music is real good and i think these people who are starting to, dare i say it, become Fans of my music need to hear it. idk, just some thoughts. here is one of the older songs, it’s called “Dollars Circulate”. off of what i think is a J.Dilla or 9th wonder beat but i’m not exactly sure. i kno it came out before Jezzys, Don Cannon Produced joint offa the recession.

Supposed to be doing this cypher @ 100.3 the beat tomorrow. Video jawn, prolly gone youtube it and put it on their site. They said they tryn get me and some other philly artist in that jawn. Iont wanna name names cuz then if they don’t come or plans fall thru ima look salty. But its some big name cats so it could def be a good look for me. i been Sharpening my teeth all day gettin ready for it.
